A few days ago I was looking for bluetooth stereo headphones for my iPhone, my iMac, and my girlfriend’s desktop. It’s pretty hard to find a suitable one for me because I’m really picky. I almost researched all the bluetooth headphones out there but finally only got two candidates, Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800 and Sony DR-BT140QP.

I preferred HBH-IS800 at first. I was very impressed with its little tiny size though it also comes with poor battery life, but it doesn’t matter for me. Sadly, it doesn’t work well with iPhone currently. iPhone assumes that the volume control is on the headphones, and the headphones assume that the volume control is on the player, so volume is permanently on maximum. This is pretty much the Apple’s fault, but what can I do? As a result, I had no choice but to give it up.

Fortunately, my second candidate doesn’t disappoint me. The Sony DR-DT140QP works pretty well and comes with a pretty nice looking as well. It can pair only one bluetooth device at a time, but that’s what I want. The sound quality is also good, at least much better than the ones I had. I am very satisfied with this headphones, except the next and previous buttons still don’t work with my iPhone, but this is Apple’s fault again…
