SONY 50mm F2.8 Macro lens

Yesterday I got my first fixed-focal-length lens – Sony 50mm F2.8 Macro. It’s not just a fixed-focal-length lens but also a macro lens, which means I’m able to take close-up shots using this lens. Also, it’s my first Sony lens as well as my second lens.

Actually, I was planning to buy a new zoom lens (Carl Zeiss 16-80 F3.5-F4.5) to replace my Tamron A16 (17-50 F2.8), but that way I will lose the faster and larger aperture, so this new fixed-aperture lens would be a great complement for the Carl Zeiss 16-80 zoom lens, which doesn’t have large and fixed aperture.

I bought this lens as a second hand. However, this lens was well-preserved by its former owner, and I got a really great deal. Thanks a lot! So, I’m quite happy to have this one and to know the guy who sold me this lens. Wish I could take some nice shots by this lens soon.
